"For me, it is a place of safety and shelter from the storms and cares of life. We are united together as brothers and sisters in Christ in this local body, and there’s a love and unity like no other place. Church is home."
When it comes to healing, I’m so glad God has higher thoughts than men do! His thought is that He has made forgiveness and healing EASY! Jesus said it was easy to heal a paralytic. There are few things that seem more impossible than a paralytic getting up and walking away completely healed. But remember that Jeremiah said there is nothing too difficult for God!
Jesus bore our sicknesses! From God’s perspective, we are legally healed. It is a finished work. Now, if we’re healed, what do we do when symptoms of disease are raging in our bodies, shouting at us that we are not healed? WE KEEP OUR EYES ON JESUS!
Many don’t understand that the battle’s already been won by God. So they mistakenly think they must win it by praying long and hard enough.
