The devil doesn’t want people to receive divine healing, because it releases them from his grip on their lives. He tries every strategy to keep people from knowing that healing belongs to them, or to keep those who do know about healing from receiving it. I was in the first category, being raised in a denominational church that never taught divine healing. I didn’t ever hear of anybody being healed...

I have observed that two things people strive for above anything else are life and health. Man continues the age-old search to find man-made remedies for sickness and disease. Billions of dollars are spent each year and thousands of lives are dedicated to find cures for various diseases that destroy the quality of people’s lives. But God already gave us the remedy for every sickness and disease when He sent His Son, Jesus, into this world.

Most people who are sick want one thing: to get well. But many don’t realize that God also wants them to get well. He wants your healing as much as you want it! Emphatically! Not “maybe.” Not “sometimes.” Not “if it’s His mysterious will.” God has already made His will absolutely clear. How? Through the beatings that Jesus took as our substitute.
