"For me, it is a place of safety and shelter from the storms and cares of life. We are united together as brothers and sisters in Christ in this local body, and there’s a love and unity like no other place. Church is home."
Yes, God does have a timing for certain events in life, like when people get married, or when Jesus will return. However, when it comes to what He has already provided, such as healing, God is not the One who sets the time. We are not waiting on God for our healing. God is always waiting on us!
Because Jesus is the Word of God, we must meditate upon His Word. This is the key to receiving healing: spending time reading and speaking the scriptures on healing; if we don’t do that, we will fail to receive healing. There is no divine healing apart from the Word of God.
Many people are desperate, and they make the mistake of pleading and begging God for things. But this is a futile approach that will not get results. God will not answer us based on need, or even on sincerity. We can be sincere in our begging, but God only responds to faith!
