I’ve had many conversations over the years with people who wanted healing. So often, they will say, “I know that someday I’ll be healed, or I sure hope I will be healed.” They will be waiting for a long time because there is no faith in those statements. Looking to the future is hope. The problem is that when we kick the can down the road, we rarely see it come to pass. If you need healing, you don’t want it in the future. You want it right now!

Many have said, “If only I see a miracle, I will believe God can heal me!” This is actually not scriptural. The world operates by the slogan, “Seeing is Believing.” However, according to the Word of God, it’s just the opposite. The Bible teaches that “Believing is Seeing.”

There is something far more powerful than any disease, pain, or trial, and that is the name of Jesus! The name of Jesus belongs to every Christian, and if you’re a believer, you have a right to use that name! However, you must understand the power and the authority that are in Jesus’ name, and learn to exercise that authority.
