  • Scriptures for Children | Abundant Life Family Church

SCRIPTURES FOR CHILDREN Your children are most precious. One of the best things you can do for your children is to speak the Word of God over them. Below are scriptures from the Bible that you can confess, and short meditations to speak out loud concerning your children. Speak the Word over your children regularly and they will be blessed for it, and so will you! (All scriptures are taken from the New King James version, unless otherwise stated.) What The Bible Says About Your Children Booklet Download Psalm 4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him. My children have been set apart to serve God. My children will walk with God, love God, serve God, please God! My children will obey God and God's Word. Psalm 145:4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. One generation can praise the works of God to another, and I declare that the presence of God upon my life is upon my children's lives. A generational anointing is being imparted to my children. What God has done for me, He is doing for my children as well. Nehemiah 2:8 And the king granted them to me according to the good hand of my God upon me. I confess that the good hand of God is upon my children. God's hand in the Bible represents God's authority. God's authority is over my children, the authority of goodness, kindness, meekness, gentleness, patience, peace, and joy. My children live under the authority of the kingdom of God and not under the authority of the kingdom of darkness. Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring. I confess that God's blessings are upon me and my family. God's provision will find me and my children like streams and rivers. God's Spirit is covering my children like the sky covers the earth. Blessings from God are upon me and they are upon my children. Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. I boldly confess that my children have a hunger for God and the things of God. My children love God's Word. My children love to pray. My children have hearts turned toward the things of God. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. I confess that God has a plan for my children that will bring only joy and hope. My children will find, follow, and flow in the perfect will of God. Only God's best will touch my children. God's divine plan will be accomplished for my children. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. I confess that the steps of my children are ordered by the Lord. Each and every day, my children will walk in the footsteps that Jesus Christ wants them to walk in. Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. I confess that my children are growing in wisdom and favor with God and man. My children are developing in social skills. My children are growing in daily judgment. My children are clothed with favor from upon high. Isaiah 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. I confess that my children walk in and under the anointing of God. God's presence is always upon my children. Angels of God are always near my children. The power of God is daily and continually flowing in and through my children's lives. Colossians 2:2 That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ. I confess that my children are being knit by the Spirit of God to godly friends and relationships. My children will marry the person God has for them. My children will go to school with the right children, play with the right children, talk to the right children, and continue to build relationships with only godly children. John 10:4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. My children know the voice of the Good Shepherd and the voice of a stranger they do not listen to. My children hear and recognize the voice of God and they will be obedient to His every whispering instruction. Romans 5:17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. My children are learning to reign and live in this life as kings. My children have a "king's mentality". God's best is assigned to the lives of my children. My children experience the royal life of God found in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. Thanks be to God who always causes my children to walk and live in victory! My children will have victory in every area of their lives. Victory over sin. Victory over the devil. Victory over thoughts that come to their minds that are not of God. Victory in their finances, their bodies, and their futures. Psalm 35:27 ...let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." God delights to prosper His servants. My children will serve God all the days of their lives and honor His Word and be blessed all the days of their lives. No harm will touch my children. Only blessings will come upon my children. Blessings are being sent to my children each and every day by the love of God. • Testimonies | Abundant Life

TESTIMONIES Look what the Lord has done! Learn more of what God is doing in the life of the Abundant Life Church family. Come Visit Us Look What the Lord has Done! Elizabeth C. "The first Sunday I came to the service I was warmly received by the people and heard a great message. I began attending every Sunday, as much as I could. The ladies urged me to come Wednesday night. One came and got me as I had not driven at night for many months. I began to hunger for more and have even been driving on Wednesday night so I can be sure to come to service. My hunger for more of God has increased so much because of the preaching and teaching I have received here. I am so grateful to the pastors and the people for helping restore my zeal for the things of God." Mark E. "I am very grateful for what God has done at Abundant Life. I developed back problems. If I bent over for more than a couple of seconds it was very difficult to stand up, which was a problem since I need to bend over a lot for work. My back felt very stiff and there was some pain. During a Sunday morning service I went forward to Pastor Jeff for prayer. During the prayer I did not feel any change. I walked back to my seat believing I was healed. By the time I sat down the pain and stiffness were gone and remain gone to this day." Kathleen D. "For me it is a place of safety and shelter from the storms and cares of life. That shelter predominately comes from sitting under the teaching of the Word and secondly by the love of my church family. We are united together as brothers and sisters in Christ in this local body, and there’s a love and unity you get like no other place. Church is home. Pastor Jeff led me to the Lord in a church service almost 30 years ago! He and Pastor Christine have been helping me to grow up all these years later. Thank you, Pastors, for providing me with a safe, loving home." Anthony W. "Outside of my natural knowledge and abilities, I firmly believe that this job became mine through the support and advice of my Pastors’. Pastor Jeff recommended reading books and meditating on the favor of God and confessing that favor over my life so that I could be confident in knowing that my next best job was coming to pass. I have achieved much in my current role and have experienced the favor of God with my colleagues and leadership. This opportunity has been a blessing and I look forward to what is next. Thank God for my local church and the gift of my Pastors." PLAN YOUR VISIT

SCRIPTURES FOR PEACE Our heavenly Father, He desires for every one of His children to walk in perfect peace! Learn more below about what the Bible says about the peace that surpasses all circumstance. (All scriptures are taken from the New King James version, unless otherwise stated.) Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. John 14:27 AMPC Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] Philippians 4:6-7 AMPC Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God. And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. John 16:3 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. • Jesus | Abundant Life Family Church

JESUS Liar, Lunatic or Lord? Let's look at this logically... Was Jesus Christ really who He said He was? Was He really the Lord, the Son of God? Was He just a good man, or a prophet? Or was He deranged and delusional? This 23-minute message will address this question. Listen and decide! Liar, Lunatic or Lord? Pastor Jeff Miller 00:00 / 22:37 Eternal Life is a Free Gift God loves you and wants you to have a happy, joyful, and prosperous life -- an abundant life. He sent His Son Jesus to die for you and take your place. He has already forgiven you of your past sins, but you must accept it. You must receive your free gift. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. — John 3:17 All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. It's that simple. The only sin that can keep you out of heaven is the sin of rejecting God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Give your life to Jesus today! Pray this prayer out loud and believe it with all your heart. Pray this Prayer: Dear God, You said in Your Word, Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. — Romans 10:13 Lord Jesus, I'm calling on Your name. I believe in my heart that You are the Son of God. I thank You for dying on the cross and taking my place. I believe God the Father raised You from the dead. I accept You now as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins and giving me a new start. I give You control of my life. From this day forward You are the Lord and master of my life. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. Lord Jesus, I will love You and serve You forever. Amen. Salvation Prayer You are Forgiven! If you just prayed and made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life, you are saved and forgiven of your past sins. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. — Romans 10:9-10 Your salvation is not based upon your good works, but on your personal faith in Jesus Christ. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. — Ephesians 2:8-9 Welcome to the Family!
